the funding process

The funding process is very simple and there is no charge for considering your application.

The funding process involves:

1) You or your lawyer if you have one completes an application for funding form. This can be done either online or by downloading a copy of the application form, completing it and then faxing or posting it to us.

2) Once we have received your application we will conduct a detailed assessment of your case.

3) If an offer of funding is to be made we will send you or your lawyer a funding agreement for your consideration.

4) Before signing any funding agreement with us we ask that you seek independent advice from your solicitor to make sure you understand fully your rights and obligations.

Some of the factors that we will consider in deciding whether to fund your case includes the:
> amount of the claim
> type of claim
> strength of the claim
> expected legal costs
> expected time to resolution
> case complexity
> likelihood of recovery against the defendant if the claim is successful.
